So this year we have new board members, and we had the chance to change up our treat list. We also got more details from the houses about what our clients enjoy to eat and drink. As a result, we had teas, coffees, granola bars, and many other items that we hope will bring seasonal cheer.
We also had a lot of the old favourites like crispy rice squares (regular and dairy-free), chocolate crinkle cookies, and lots of others, as well as a few new homemade goodies.
And it is amazing how many containers we collect and save from previous years in order to make sure everything gets to our clients in one piece. Decorating the bags for the individual packages is always fun – we change it up each year, depending on what we find.
The big bags are certainly full this year! We hope we remembered everyone’s requests, and we hope everyone enjoys munching on the homemade treats, as we truly enjoyed making them for our clients!
